I couldn’t find the tester chat for this turtle :joy:

I finished my turtle. It is adorable and easy to follow. The only thing I would suggest is adding some photos on how the fins and head go on for people that are new to crocheting. I used parfait chucky yarn with a 5mm hook. I will do a journal entry and i can do a instagram post for you too if you want and give me your IG info.

Hey sorry i havent been home dur to family emergency. I have the tester made but didnt get the chance to take a picture. I can send it tomorrow if thats ok. Truly sorry!

Hmm in rd 8 of the shell I’m a little confused how to “attach” the fins and head

I’d love to do this in chenille with a 5 mm hook, but I’ve also got acrylic if you’ve got enough plush testers.

(I’m remembering of the top of my brain) when it said 2sc, then 2sc into flipper, then 2sc it’s basically like crochet like normal but when it says sc into flipper you stick your hook into the edge of the flipper you want attached to the turtle and sc like normal (for the 2sc into the flipper) (with the flipper on your hook) then continue to sc like normal and continue to do that with the rest of the flippers and head. I hope that helped! Sorry it’s a little confusing but that’s how I explain it in my head.

I just crocheted the fins into the body with the 2sc. I personally modified the spacing in between the front fins and the heads and attached the head with 3 sc instead of 2 to help secure it better. I also think itll be easier to attach the head if you crochet it close before you attach it

So basically you crochet the flipper and head to the turtle. I don’t know if that helps :woman_shrugging:

Basically the same thing with the head as the flippers

Hmm but doesn’t it have 6scs already for the head??? How do I do it with 2 scs

You fold the head stick the hook into two sts at once and then sc, is basically the same thing with the flippers as the head but you fold the turtle head in half and sc with the two sts on the hook. Then you would do that twice since it said two sc. I think there needs to be photos of how to attach the flippers and head.
