Tester call for Crochet: Pocket Seal

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well

I’m looking for 4-5 testers for my Pocket Seal pattern! It’s a no-sew small plushie that takes about one hour to make :3

Here are the requirements and general info:

  • I will choose testers on February 16th
  • the deadline is February 26th
  • I will need at least 3 of the testers to use a 4 mm hook and matching yarn, so please specify which size of yarn you plan to use
  • any yarn colour or combination of colours is perfectly fine
  • once testing is done, I would like my testers to publish a Journal with their creation and feedback (if you’re comfortable with doing that, of course!); I will also post on my Instagram when the pattern releases, so I’ll ask my testers if they want a picture of their creation to be included and if they want to be tagged in the post
  • the pattern is completely no-sew and of intermediate difficulty
  • the pattern will be released shortly after testing and will be a free pattern like all the rest C:
  • I will soon add some pictures inside the pattern to better explain some techniques - I’ll try taking them before testing starts!

Thank you for reading, I’m looking forward to your applications!
I would also like to thank everybody for following and supporting me - I just noticed I have more that 900 followers in my Ribblr shop, which is a number of people I can barely wrap my head around. I hope everyone has a fun time crocheting my patterns and that your plushies bring you joy and comfort!

Would love to help test this for you. Im comfortable using what ever materials needed. I can do what’s suggested in the pattern, or whatever you prefer.

Here is a how I do pattern testing. First I read through the pattern and write it out by hand (I find this helps me spot any errors). Then while testing, I take multiple progress pictures of each piece. I also take notes as I go that are added to my final journal. Once the project is complete I take several pictures of the completed project at various angles. During the testing process, if I come across anything in the pattern that just doesn’t seem right (whether that be not understanding how something is explained, or a wrong stitch count, or another error) I go to the designated spot to communicate what I’ve found as soon as it comes up. Then my final report will include the final journal, some comments about the pattern, and a picture of the completed pattern. I am of an advanced/expert level crocheter, and have roughly 13 years experience.

Congratulations on completing a new pattern.

Hi all! Testers have been chosen, I will message them soon
Thank you all for applying, and don’t worry if you haven’t been chosen: in case one of the chosen testers cannot test, I may ask you to step in (giving you an appropriate amount of time to test, of course)!
Thank you all again, happy crocheting! C:
