Thank you so much for choosing me as one of the testers! I’m getting started on the cat right now, but I wanted to check in and ask if there will be a tester chat group or if we should just post feedback here.

I had some issues with rounds 4 and 5 so far:

Round 4: doing inc all around caused my cat to start curling in on itself and also got really hard to work on. I ended up frogging after failing to get through more than half of round 5 because the stitches were hard to get into and redoing round 4 as {sc, sc, inc} repeated.
Here is a photo of what it looked like when I followed the inc all around instruction:

Round 5: I was confused what the (flo, all in one stitch) comment was referring to. I re-did this round 3 times. The first time, I did flo for all of the sc and all instructions in their own stitch, but I realized that the ears did not look good like that. The second time, I did flo for all sc and (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in one stitch for the ear. But then I realized, you likely meant to flo for the ear part, so I frogged again to do that. I think it would be helpful if you indicated which stitches to do (flo, all in one stitch) for.

I’m also having an issue on round 8 where the ears don’t pop up in the same way as your photos. They instead look a lot longer around the entire body. For rounds 6-8, I assumed the instruction to sc all around meant to also sc around the 4 stitches of each ear, but I think that is what’s causing the problems. For round 6, did you blo sc in the stitches with ears? Or is there some other way to get the ears to pop up like that?

Here is a photo of my current progress:

For the ears I meant like (sc,2dc,sc ) in one stitch only flo ,
And so that when you do the round after you can do blo .

Got it, thank you for getting back to me. I will frog back to round 6 and redo that part.

Is there a tester-only chat, or should I continue to message updates here?

Hi! I think there are a few small errors in the pattern:

Round 9 has a total of only 29 stitches, but the prior rounds indicate that there should be more than that. (Round 4 says there should be 48 total stitches.)

I ended up doing {sc, sc, inc} x repeat for round 4. For round 5, I followed the instructions for spacing for the ears. Then, for round 9, I did {27 sc, bbl with 4 stitches, 2 sc, bbl with 4 stitches, 1 sc}.

Here is what my current progress looks like:

I’m working on the other color, then will sew the two parts together to make them reversible.

Haha, made it here too… Found out yesterday this was in my testing zone…
New to testing here.
This thread would’ve helped me with my problems too after round 4 …
I found the ‘mistake’ of increase all - and did 2sc - inc ; but it took me so many times doing the crochet and undoing it, because it wasn’t right… OOPs
