I could use bulky yarn with a 5 or 6 hook but different colors.
The yarn I used said it was bulky so it should work. I’m fine with color changes!

Id love to test using acrylic yarn with a 3.5mm/4mm hook or id double strand and use a 4.5mm/5mm hook!!!
