I would use blue and teal worsted weight yarn and a 3 mm hook.

Recently I saw so many mini crochet makes for test, but I was little busy. I’m curious to try making one small and this one catched my eye looks cute, my nephew will be happy to have one 
I think will go with acrylic yarn or maybe cotton the hook 3mm or 2.5 mm. It depends on the yarn size, I liked the colors you used I may use the same or hmmm, I just remembered I have some neon colors or even glow in the dark 
that’s really gives me so many ideas. I hoe to be choosen

I’d love to test and if included would use dk weight cotton with a 3.25mm hook. I’m thinking either yellow & green or caramel & fudge for the colours.

Would love to test. If successful will either use flutterby skinny chenille and 4.5 mm hook or yarnsmith chunky chenille and 5 mm hook . May do both if have time.
