Tester call for Crochet: Stripey Fish

I need testers for my Stripey Fish - Crochet ePattern
:fish: This is my pattern for my latest design ‘The Stripey Fish’. It is an intermediate pattern with use of colour work, and small rounds, which takes around an hour. This is going to be a paid pattern.

:tropical_fish: Materials required:

- Acrylic or cotton yarn in 2 colours

- 2.5 – 4mm hook (depending on confidence and yarn)

- Small safety eyes

- Stuffing

:blowfish: Deadline: Wednesday 29th April 2026

I will be approving testers as they come in so it will most likely be first come first serve. Pattern to be released on May 1st if testing goes well. I won’t be giving extensions, please don’t ghost. If you need to abort, please let me know first.

:shark: Expectations:

- Clear photos in a journal entry

- Feedback on the pattern (errors and clarity of instructions etc.) in the group chat only not in journal

:fish: Testers will receive:

- Free final pattern

- Tag in pattern description

- Priority in future tests

:tropical_fish: I am looking for around 5-8 testers. If you have completed one of my tests before then please comment or DM me for priority.

Would love to test! I haven’t tested for you, but in early march we talked about a collab but we’re both a bit busy.

These are so cute! I love them and just have to test for you! I’ve never tested for you before but I’m quick at finishing testing. I’d use chenille yarn and a 4mm hook.

I’ve never tested for you before but I’d love to test your pattern :00 The fishies look so cute. I use chenille yarn with a 3.5 mm hook. I also have chunky chenille yarn and a 5.5mm hook!

Would love to test for you. I would use up scrap yarn so not 100% sure on colors but would be acrylic worsted with an E hook.

It looks cute

Hey was just wondering if you would/could make a group chat for testers. Sorry just have had trouble communicating with pattern designers in the past lol.

Yes of course I will later (I just woke up lol)

All good lol, thanks!

I would be pleased to test. I have a wide variety of cotton blend yarnart yarn available to test a couple of blends. I’ve not been a tester yet, but you can look at the journals I’ve posted to see the work I’ve done.

I’ve recently been making things with a 4mm so I’m pretty confident in my ability for that. Here’s some examples:

I would take better pictures for my journal with better lighting and better defuzzing of the pieces
