Hi !

Just started . Found the pattern easy to follow. However, most patterns would have the stitch count in a ( ) after every round. I think it will be clearer if you could add that in.

Other than that, I also feel you could add a ‘ start stuffing’ before the ( 1sc, dec) round to make it clearer when to stuff. After the ( dec x6 ) round , you could also add ‘ finish stuffing’ and ‘ finish off’

Overall , I just finished the head , but not much issues with the pattern, so I think if these changes were made, the pattern would be better for crocheters to understand.

Good job with the pattern though!:smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Here are the colors I’m using: acrylic 4 weight
Brown: head, body, feet, ears
White: eyes
Aran (substituted for tan): snout, jaw,
Light peach (substituted for pink): inner ear
Black: center of eye. Antlers, black part of jaw.
And I’m using a 5mm hook.

You can also see the head and part of the body after 10 rounds.

I have noted the following things so far:

  1. I think you should have the stitch count for each round
  2. You mention wire to stabilize the antlers, but you give no instructions on how and where the wire goes.
  3. There are no stuffing instructions this needs to be added.
  4. At the end of each piece, there needs to be a fasten off note.
  5. At the end of the body, on round 14 you end with sc,Dec x6 which leaves 12 stitches. Should there be one more dec round then fasten off??
  6. I suggest the addition of photos at each step especially when assembly is being done.
