I’d keep all colors the same you have except a different color dino, likely all in Big Twist acrylic yarn with a 3-4mm hook

This is so cute and such a good idea for a pattern! I would like to use acrylic Lion Brand Respun yarn (4 but seems more like weight 3) in Raven for the dino 
and Cranberry for the heart 🩷

This is so adorable! I would use loops and threads skinny chenille yarn in pink, white and red.

Would use dollar tree chenille in red or pink with 3 or 4 mm hook
