Hi Everyone, I’m still on my beach bag/market tote roll. This one is more of a challenge but so pretty. Good news is that there are no complicated stitches, just a different way to do them. Any one up for diagonal granny stitches?
#4 weight yarn, preferably cotton but not a game changer
5MM crochet hook
Stitches used: CH, SL, SC, DC, EDC
Complete date by 5 JuN
Looking for 3-4 responsible testers who will:
Create a public journal so I can track progress
Provide 1-2 photos of finished bag
Call out any errors so I can fix
Constructive feedback and/or any ideas to improve the pattern are always welcome.

I need testers for my It's a Puzzle Beach Bag - pattern-Crochet ePattern
Wow, 41 years! I’m a knitter and have crossed over to the crochet world about 10 years ago and love it.
Happy to have you join in the fun. I’ll assign the pattern to you shortly.

Sounds fabulous! I’ve been sewing for 51 years () this summer. My grandma Verlee, who is turning 102 soon, taught me when I was 7 because I was physically maturing faster than was typical. Our dad raised me and my 2 brothers alone till I was 15. He had no clue about girls, at all. So I had a lot of help from ladies and college girls in our church. But I never fit in with my own age group since I was always hanging out with people much older. So I learned all kinds of crafts from a variety of ladies, in a variety of states. Dad was a pilot in the USAF then went into law enforcement. Fifth grade I was in Alabama, Illinois and Washington! That was both the worst and best year of school! In Illinois I had two teachers that my dad had! Haha!
Hi, thanks for the notes on the word “cluster”, I have a bad habit of saying and thinking cluster when I mean something else. The word cluster was all over the first draft of this pattern. I thought I had removed all of them but clearly one sneaked by me. I also changed SK3 DC and replaced with SK3 STS as you suggested.
I kept the R8 and 9 repeats as is because most testers like to be able to see the strike throughs when they complete a row.
