hellaur! here comes my next no sew pattern(it’s been a while)! sorry for the wait, i know ive been missing my no sews. the monkey is from a show from the early-mid 2000s, finally fulfilling my childhood dream of having my very own rainbow monkey!
this is beginner friendly! but you will need to know how to colour change and start with a foundation chain. this is a really quick pattern and can be worked up in less than an hour. you will be gifted the pattern upon completion. you have to make ONE of the following accessories to be considered completed; banana peel, rainbow, flower. you are not required to make all 3, however it is very much appreciated! all three accessories are no sew!
i would like to hear what my testers would be using, yarn/hook wise. pls let me know and i’ll be more inclined to choose you i made mine with premier parfait chunky and a 3.5mm hook.
requirements must journal when completed must know how to colour change + start with a foundation chain no yarn or colour requirements communicate + provide feedback (good or bad) failure to talk/complete will bar you from future tests must complete within a week of being chosen (10 am 16th february AEST) must make atleast ONE accessory
please do not apply if you have multiple unfinished pattern tests or are unable to meet the requirements. no asking for extensions once again, this is a VERY SMALL pattern, you should be able to finish it quickly.
They’re so cute!!! >:0
I would use weight 4 acrylic with my 3.25 mm hook, and some safety eyes!
My monkey would also most likely be blue with a little flower on its head
Gl with testing : D
I would love to test any of these monkeys! They are SO cute and I LOVE the banana one. I would most lokely use chenille yarn (either premier just chenille or honey bunny from hobbii) with a 4/4.5 mm hook. I havent completely decided yet but if I make them all I could do many different techniques! I really hope to get picked but if not, good luck
glad to know i’m not the only one who knows where they’re from i’ve been dying to make a rainbow monkey! starting off with a itty bitty baby size then working my way up
I applied. I only have one in my testing zone that I have not finished yet, which should be done tomorrow, so I should be free to make little monkeys. They remind me of the barrel of monkeys which I played with a ton as a little kiddo.
Oh my god binka
STOP MAKING PATTERNS AT THE TIMES IM BUSYYYYY IM GONNA CRY THESE GUYS LOOK SO HAPPY I NEED THEMMMM GOOD LUCK WITH TESTING THEY ARE SCRUMPTIOS
