I’ve been scouting around ribblr and have found a few people who don’t post images for their makes. (not targeting anyone)
I just wanted to say that we never know if they actually tested the pattern or not, bc there is no proof. could we find a way to get them to prove that they made it (without using ai or anything to make a photo of it)
I just want people that create the patterns to give the people that want to do it a chance and those who don’t as not to not be chosen as testers.
Yeah I’ve seen this a few times too! I was in a tester group one time and this one person would not send a pic and consistently make excuses about it! (guessing they never actually made the product)
The only time I’ve EVER posted something other than my actual make is when I’m testing a mystery pattern. The creator usually requests that testers post something else (usually the yarn used for the project) to keep the pattern a mystery. I think that’s really the only acceptable reason to have something posted other than the actual make.
That’s exactly right. If they don’t complete the journal with photographs it’s an incomplete test. Therefore they’re not entitled to the pattern. Good on you.
