This is so exciting! I’m so grateful to all these wonderful people who decided to support me in testing my pattern. Thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to do this. I hope you loved it as much as I do!
The only thing I’m not satisfied with, as usual, is the people who apply and then do nothing, not even say hi. I find it disrespectful to me and the other people who could have been accepted instead (in my case, I accept everyone). I believe that when you apply for testing, you must accept your responsibilities, and if you can no longer do it due to time, materials, difficulty, or simply because you don’t want to, then part of your responsibility is to let them know and not remain silent. Even if you start and can’t finish because of a problem, or if you have electricity issues and are afraid it will go out at the last minute, we’ve all been there. I’ve been through it all, and even if I haven’t experienced your situation, you don’t have to be ashamed or worried about simply letting me know about your problems.
From now on, I’m going to try to write everyone who does this so that more designers and other testers don’t have to deal with the attitude of these people.
Hi, I’m so happy to be part of your testers. I will be more happy to be tester for your future patterns if I got the chance.
It was so much fun to work on this pattern and so cute result made to make 2 of them.
It is an easy pattern to try and satisfying results.
I understand your feeling towards people not doing anything or even kept silent. If you can’t do it just don’t apply, if you been choosen and can’t do it just say it so the designer just remove you and to be clear in that. I hope you will always get the more good tester than bad ones.
thanks again for the opportunity!! and for the reminder and help with the journal :) I really appreciated being able to help as well as ur kindness and understanding and more than that i am so happy with the project result!
congrats on the release, it’s so cute and i just grabbed it!!
as far as your frustration goes, it’s completely valid. i understand your feelings on this matter, as i have experienced this too!
however, this is why you simply do not accept everyone who applies. i know that its fun to have a lot of testers, but whats even more fun is reliable testers!! i typically will vary my tester amount depending on the amount that apply, but i also make sure to choose people ive worked with before (that will get it done), people with perfect/almost perfect karma, and people who are active on ribblr and know how to make a journal.
