Sorry. I’m a bit confused? I don’t know how to enter or what to enter :slightly_frowning_face:.
Could someone please help me? It would be much appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:. Also can we claim ANY PATTERN? ‘Cause I kinda already got the fruity cat milk carton…
Do we just journal how we made it or do we make a story out of it??

I’m having the exact same problem. I think the issue is we don’t yet know if you had to claim the pattern AFTER the challenge was announced, or if that matters :woman_shrugging: But from the sound of it we just make a gem pattern journal.

I got a pattern that i would use in the future but then today they come out with this months challenge and I won’t even be able it finish by next week.

The gem expires at some point I believe, that’s what it says in the original e-mail.

Yeah, your free gem expires on the 14th or the 15th, it said 2 weeks on July 1st so idk

I think the fruity milk cartons would work, all the patterns in the gem library seem to be the same as what they were when gems were first announced

I think you have to claim it by then - I don’t think it expires on the 14th

So we just want to answer a few of the questions that were asked in the last few hours:

@LesbianMothman @Juniper2010 @StellaStitches
we have checked and you both have already claimed your free gem on 1 July. That’s the same free gem - you can’t claim it twice.

@MargueriteCrafts - you have claimed a Gem Pattern using your Gem - Granny Square Crop Top Pattern. It’s in your library.

@CloudyStars - yes you can.

There was no Gem last month :sweat_smile: Gems were launched just 7 days ago on 1 July.

@littlerabbit15 - please follow the tour shown to get your gem, it’s not enough to just click the balance.

That’s correct! The Gem doesn’t expire, but you have to claim it by then.

@theBattyCrocheter - that’s usually the case - it’ll be judged by the number of likes :slight_smile:

@Vattoo - you have to follow the instructions of the challenge in order to participate.

You need to claim your Gem by the 14th, but once claimed your Gem won’t expire :blush:

You don’t need to have claimed the pattern after the challenge was announced, you just need to submit a journal to the Challenge Pattern linked in the post, of one of the patterns in the Gem Library :blush:
