in row 7 there are 24 sc, i did 24 sc, but in row 8 i have to do 8sc then a dc 4 times then i have to do 8 sc. but there is no room for that.
As far as I can tell, the pattern should be fine. Maybe you should go back a row and count to make sure you have 24sc? Because 8sc +4dec +8sc should add up to a total of 24 stitches in a previous row. Maybe you accidentally missed a stitch when creating row 7, or accidentally skipped a stitch when working on row 8.
oh so its 4 dec not 8 sc then a dec 4 times?
As far as I can tell. The [dec] x4 and the 8sc before it are separated by a comma, which usually means that the x4 is referring only to the dec
oh okay, Thank you!! just got a little confused
I see your newer, just so you know in the future you cant post parts of a pattern. You can just delete the post, and it wont be flagged. Please, and thank you.
Oh sorry, i didnt think of that, the pattern is free tho. sorry!
Its alright! Its just not allowed, I didnt flag the post. But in the future someone will.
You are decreasing 4 stitches so probably single crocheting 2 stitches together 4 times. From what I read it sounds right.
yes you are correct, i thought it was 8 sc then a dec then you repeat that 4 times. oops
