WHAT.
ok now that is overboard overboard
Pretty much gust saying that I totally agree with you, and I wish things would go back
Say WHAAAATT?!?? Thatās just taking it too far
I can see many also share the same sentiment about wanting to see more crafting related posts, so I believe if we all try to make an effort to post more especially for crafting related topics others will soon follow, perhaps also showing some love for the knitting, sewing and tunisian spaces as well since I personally would love to see some more posts in there
Also iām asking you since youre a leader, but could you make (or bring it up to ribblr to make) a space for giveaways? They are everywhere and so jumbled up, it would be nice to organize them :)
Thatās actually a really great idea
Yesss thatās such a great idea
We have the tag giveaway to help organize it, but if you think itāll be better as a space as well let us know and I can bring it up to Ribblr
Yes definetly as a space! Thank you so much!
I agree more crafting, but the Ribblr chat is a chat. Would you rather have people making posts about their life, or chatting in the chat about their life? I do kind of miss the more homey feel of Ribblr, everyone knowing each other, but the community has expanded, lost people, gained people, so thatās bound to happen. I just wanna say I donāt really feel the chat is much of a problem.
agreed!
to be honest, it does a little bit haha
yeah that isnāt helpful at all. we should start uniting and attempt to help eachother out. itās a crafting community, if you arenāt interested in it then wellā¦ why are you here?
Thereās plenty of other apps you can engage in if you want or need to chat but this should be for crochet. I agree and my daughter does too, itās just not the same.
Thank you for sharing your feelings!
Our chat channels are open for any conversation, as long as it follows our Community Guidelines and Terms & Conditions. Please flag any violations. We recently addressed an issue with a few users misusing the chats, and those situations are being dealt with. If you encounter anything inappropriate, avoid engaging and flag it or contact us. We have tools to handle these cases, and we do not tolerate any abuse or behavior that makes others feel unsafe. Our community is meant to be a welcoming space for all crafters.
You can also disable chat by going to your profile settings (Profile > Preferences > Chat > Untick āEnable Chatā).
Regarding community spaces, the vast majority are craft-related, as they should be! Though we do allow non-craft conversations in Personal spaces , as long as they foster meaningful discussions and follow our guidelines (e.g., get-to-know-you posts).
Lastly, for self-promotion, you may promote your own Ribblr shop or pattern once a week. Posting more frequently than that is considered spam.
We are all what makes this community so incredible and positive. Letās continue to engage in fun, thoughtful, and inspiring conversations!
Weāll make a clarification post to remind everyone of that.
I agree with this post!
We arenāt meaning the chat, weāre meaning the posts. Itās been overall unhelpful when trying to ask for craft advice and help because of it. Thereās also people making random posts that are completely unrelated. I donāt care about the chat, itās bound to happen in there. Weāre talking about the posts.
I agree with this so much! I used to scroll through this chat every day looking for a pattern to test, or some help with a certain pattern, but now it just feels different. Because of that Iāve been so much less inactive and I think there needs something to be done about it.
I want this to have more patterns that are sewing and knitting to (agree that itās need to have more of crafting topics)(I also think that thay should add more crafts like needle kwillting and the thing ween you sew x in a piece of fabric (sorry if this wasnāt supper related to the post)
Yeah I am same with you, I keep seeing off topic post like I been trying to see more crafty topics but mostly see so much of the off topic things going on.
