I was planning to make a testing pattern for a koala I made a while ago, (I unfortunately don’t have any pictures- too lazy to get a picture and switched phones and it wasn’t backed up- if you need one just lmk!)
If you have any tips for testers or for me, since I don’t really test patterns (ever-might be a problem) please give me some info 
Also never do you realize how freaky lyrics are in a song you love until you play it in the car with your mom 
(thank god it was my brother playing it, just admitted that it was a bomb song)

ok so I’ve made three total. Ever. But they worked so that’s gotta count for something.
FIRST OFF ngl just scour other creators patterns you have to get an idea of how the platform works
SECONDLY make it alongside writing the pattern to make sure it’s all right.
THREE! Uh hm. MAKE SURE TO SAVE YOUR PROGRESS ALONG THE WAY. one time I got through writing out HALF of a pattern then closed the app and it was gone 
No clue what else tbh. If I think of more I’ll just add them.
@craftycellist is a really good pattern maker and I think she would be better at this than me.

OML I LITERALLY SUCK-
Sorry for not replying, but I just kind of need tips to create a pattern or things to make sure I do/dont, could probably figure it out on my own but just wanted to ask the community

Haha it’s totally fine!!! Take the biggest thing would be to have it tested no matter what, even if you think it’s perfect.
Make sure to have photos of each part (nose, ears , body, legs). Also photos on where to sew. This helps avoid confusions or the tester having to guess. It’s also more professional looking.
Clear instructions.
Final measurements.
Yarn usage needed.
Consistency if you use MC then use that throughout the pattern.
Also if you have a piece that needs sewing on. Add a length for the tail. This is a suggested way to word it (Fo the cut a 6 inch tail for sewing).
If your using a certain stitch like a bobble to include that as well. Not everyone does stitches like the bobble the same.
Well written patterns = return people to buy patterns or even test again.
