tips?

Hey, so I recently got into sketching a lot of anime characters, but I suck at drawing arms and legs. They look like noodles help :downcast_face_with_sweat: I was wondering if anyone had any advice to make them look less spaghetti-ish?

(also sorry if this is the wrong space)

Just keep drawing them and looking at reference pic (from sketches or even manga, not full color anime though it will be less helpful) you get better more when you keep trying and moving forward with imperfect noodle arms then erasing or hiding them until they are perfect, I had to learn that with hands and legs the most.
Also an elbow line goes a long way in changing the noodle look, take the bottom half of the arm with the side closest to the characters body and pull it halfway Into the arm.
And don’t be afraid to trace art (do a lot of tracing where you struggle, it trains your brain) just make sure you always do your best to credit the person you traced, and be clear with people that it was a trace.
My main art focus on my insta is anime/manga style so feel free to check it out, I do digital and traditional, my handle is in my bio in the spot Ribblr put for socials

References references references! Don’t just try drawing from your mind, find all the references that you can, to show you what they ought to look like! You can even trace them at first to get the hang of it if you need to, or doing the grid thing to get the proportions and everything down.
