Toasty Bag

My 9 year old grand daughter loves her bag. I made it larger than the pattern, used Big Twist fuzzy for bread, bernat fleece for bread edges, made the strap thicker and an extension of the bread edges, and hand sewn the toast and jelly fabric inside. I started this in October and just finished it 3 weeks ago.
Grand daughter wants to use this instead of her back pack.
Pattern is written well, and easy to follow.

I gave it to her and I said “I’ll never make another, so take care of it”.

I hate sewing, and I sewed each panel twice like 5 minutes at a time.

You’re stronger than me!

But the payoff was huge with the added lining and that was a great way to tackle it, tbh.
