Exactly, especially when a lot of those ideas and/or requests come in the form of beadwork or cross stitch!

I would love to see some of your beadwork. That is something I don’t do. I do plan on trying to make some clay beads, for stitch markers.

Ha. You could add them to the Wiki too. I myself, want to make them all.

I’ve made many stitch markers but still prefer the simple plastic safety pin looking ones. I can buy 500 at a time for basically pennies. They also have no little hinges or anything that could possibly snag on any fibers.

I made my older brother a beaded bracelet using peyote stitch and a string Native American design as he really embraced that part of our heritage. He never took it off. When the medical examiner did and gave it to my parents and they gave it back to me, it had spots of paints and who knows what all else in the cracks between beads. I guess he tried washing it whenever he’d wash his hands, but he just never took it off. He worked construction and was a handyman and also did some work as a chef and a bouncer and security guard during the tourist season and local festivals. He was pretty much a renaissance man. So I have the bracelet in a case, with the loose toggle and a few pieces broken, the spots of paint as it was when he last wore it. It’s precious to me as is. I thought about remaking it to give to my son but he doesn’t like wide bracelets. I did make both of them what I called serape bracelets, my brother’s wider than my son’s but the exact same design.

I do a lot of what I want or need. Then if it doesn’t sell, it’s mine. I don’t keep much. I say “I could crochet that” a LOT.

I need baskets. None on my to do list though, hmmm
