Trouble In Search With Filters

Is anybody else having a problem when looking through free patterns under search? I’ve had this happen before, I’ll be scrolling through the free patterns and there’s suddenly paid patterns mixed in with the free ones. It’s not the change where it’s the end of the free patterns, it just appears.

I have the filters set to Crochet, Toys, and least expensive to most expensive.

I’ve had this issue before, but I had it sort by: High to Low with the prices appearing out of place with some free even appearing way before either should be

@Ribblr this is becoming a real problem for me. I was just going through free patterns again and it did the same thing (I think maybe even sooner) and now it’s mostly paid patterns. Is there anything you can do to fix it?

We’re looking into it.

has been happening to me too, didn’t think much of it though, like how Amazon has promoted items randomly not what you wanted, I figured this was promoting some or smthng :person_shrugging:

Hi,
We couldn’t reproduce it here.
Were you just scrolling and found those paid items or were you going back and forth i.e. to patterns and ā€œbackā€ (using the back button).
We’re looking for a way to reproduce it.
Many thanks and sorry about that,

It’s just scrolling and after a couple minutes it starts showing paid patterns all of a sudden with free ones mixed in.

Yes, you have to filter the crochet, knit, clothes, whatever filters first, then the low to high, then hit search. If you don’t it gets rid of the filter :)

It still does it when I do it that way. I haven’t looked in a while so it might have been fixed.

Most apps are programmed this way, so when you want free items, a little bit will pop up, and then the paid ones will come as well. Because Ribblr doesn’t make much profit, they find it easier to advertise popular paid patterns in this way. Hope this helped!

Never happened to me before maybe it showed suggestions for other crochet projects that you may like depending upon your recent searches or makes? Or could be that a shop posted something that applies to what you searched for but you’re already in the non free zone so it’s there to show you?

It’s definitely not gone through all the free when it happens, but the suggestions for what I could like is an interesting train of thought.
