Hi everyone! I’m trying to get enough stock to start a buisness. But while I’m furiously hooking to get to the starting line I had some questions. Does anyone actually buy any physical items from this app? Personally I think of ribblr as more of a patterns based place. But if I could actually sell my things here I would way prefer that over fighting with etsy again.
Opinions or insight welcome.

You can sell your makes here (items you make from patterns on Ribblr)
Edited to add, if you mean selling hooks, needles, yarn and other tools Ribblr is not the place to do that

Hi I saw your post I can’t answer a few of your questions but no we do not sell objects we make we sell the patterns to make it so this platform is best for anyone with some time to learn or try

you can sell things in ribblr, but most people from my experience aren’t seeking to buy makes as much as they are trying to find patterns. if you really don’t like etsy, there are other platforms that don’t tax you as much like shopify, then there are always local craft fairs, which I have had the best experience with. hope that helps!

finished items in ribblr are called “makes”
as of right now, you can only sell makes that have a pattern also on ribblr.
I am not sure, but I think it can be a pattern that is not published, but it must be entered into the ribbuild program because…
they way to sell makes is to finish an item and make a journal from it, then select “sell item” from your journal, currently, you can only list one at a time and just refresh it when it sells
If the item you sell was made from another designer’s pattern published here, then your journal make will be linked to that pattern and the designer will also get a royalty
you can use the selfee link in the make to list your item on other platforms (like pinterest) that will link directly back to your listing here for purchase.
I hope that helps

this is not correct information
makes are a very vital aspect of the ecosystem in ribblr and all makes sold in ribblr will pay a royalty to the designer you purchased the pattern from (if it was not your own)
