Using ribblr with no wifi

I have a flight soon and was hoping to crochet to pass time, is there anyway I can use ribblr without wifi? I just want to have access to my imported and purchased patterns

You could try using hotspot, but other than that idk any other way sorry

I’m not sure if you can use Ribblr without wifi, but I’m assuming it would be easier to access your patterns if you have the Ribblr app. Maybe wifi would work better that way. If not, you can always just write down your patterns in a notebook :)

Hope this helps, and have a safe flight! <3

You can message the creators and ask permission to take screenshots. Otherwise, you shouldn’t (if you do, make sure not to show anyone else). Some patterns also have PDFs included, so you could download those and use them without wifi.

Awe man well thanks anyway!

good idea might just have to do that thank you!

The patterns work if you already have the tabs open, I think. let me know if I’m wrong

It always resets for me though :/

Yeah it always just shows loading

No you can’t use Ribblr without the internet.

However, if you have a particular pattern you want to work on during the flight, make sure to open it up on your screen before you get on the plane. This way you’ll have access to the page whilst you’re in flight. Just don’t exit the pattern.

sadly ribblr doesnt allow downloads so you cant use it without wifi

you can also ask the creator if they could generate a pdf for you to use! they can do this from their shop :)

Erm bestie just screenshot the pattern u wanna do or write it down simple  cause either way ur gonna use their pattern delete it afterwards if ur tempted to show to others or just use free pattern idk

Nah I’ve tryed and it didn’t work also if u accidently turn off ur phone it reloads ribblr

This has been a suggestion for a long time, having the pattern library available offline but we’ve had no update. If you open the pattern and turn your phone off, (or swipe out of it so it’s open in the background) it might work but it doesn’t always. A lot of us should team up in suggestions to have Ribblr do something!

Ribblr has tried to prevent as many pattern thefts as possible and this is their way of doing it not allowing offline use of the patterns!

Yes, there has to has to be a way though, to keep them on Ribblr but have an offline setting!

I agree that would be handy!

You have tried this on Ribblr?

i believe that isn’t allowed
