Vendors, what did your latest display look like?

Hello fiber art vendors

I was thinking recently about how i have an upcoming market and my first market (although it did extremely well) i felt was lackluster in terms of presentation

This is what it looked like. Granted, I had very small room to work with but id love some ideas for my outdoor ones next month!

I made a bunch of these things and hung them carnival style and only had one of each thing up front at a time

I think you did an amazing job for your first market :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: so many cuties on display!

For outside presentation wise, when I went to a summer crafts fair last year lots of people were using big tables or a couple of tables pushed together in an L shape with a lovely tablecloth. Some had gazebo tents, and one stand hung some very pretty dangling flowers all around the tent. It was lovely  lots of people used baskets for smaller items. Some used boxes or small shelve units to give some more layer to the display :sparkles:

Overall I think you will do well regardless of the presentation as you are a talented crafter and I am very certain people will stop by to appreciate your hard work :white_heart:

I like the outdoor venues better myself. I have a tent, which gives me more hanging places, all around it. I have multiple tables, sometimes put together to make a square. (I do have table cloths). I put my empty tubs under a corner of the table to add height to the back or sides. Sometimes I put the tub upright under the cloths and fill them with odds and ends little things.

I think yours looks great, especially for the first one. I like the shelves for dimension. Maybe you could get another table which could help to not be crowded but that’s not always an option. You did well. On your next you will be fine.

Im gonna share a photo of some crates i seen on someones diaplay. Feel free to use this idea of you want.
You can also try getting the cube grid wall from amazon that you click together
I prefer larger venues you can have more then one table at though or outdoor event with a tent. You can use grid walls then

The inventory is so impressive goodness you crochet legend :exploding_head:

I don’t know if youve looked around Target’s little 5 dollar section (or if you’re near one), but they seem to always have seasonable and adorable things that would make fantastic/cute little displays!

(Like this little stand!)

A low budget solution might be to use some cardboard boxes or tubs (as Marilyn and Hunni said) beneath the tablecloth of varying heights/widths to give you more real estate, so to speak, or at least a better view of your goods!

Crates are also fantastic, as Cosmik shared, you can have them on their side with things sitting inside and have more sitting on top, using them like little benches or just use like a regular crate. Baskets are wonderful, too!

There are some great suggestions here; eager to see what your next setup looks like!

Also congrats again on your succesful market! To many more for you, my friend :confetti_ball:

(Not a vendor myself, but I’ve been to quite a few markets and helped my mom set up for some!)
