I’ve never heard of curlews but what a beautiful day for crochet. Such a lovely view.

They’re bush stone curlews and are native to Australia and they are beautiful birds but their bites hurt, and they are very territorial which is annoying because most live in people’s front yards. If you as tourists, they are a beautiful part of the Australian Wildlife. Any Australian will tell you that they are so annoying when they do their screech at night. You need to watch a video of them screeching, it’s so hard to describe
