hey everyone! so i had my bible in my backpack and it left stains from the leather on it. It is made of bernat blanket, so how do i wash it?

according to the label:
Machine wash on a delicate setting with cold water, tumble dry on low heat.

You might need to put detergent directly on stain and rub it, rinse it, rub it, rinse, till most of it is gone.
Maybe make a book sleeve for it?

most leather is dyed, that dye can be hard to move once it has transferred…I spent a week in the 90’s with green feet

There is a small chance that the dye can be removed with alcohol if washing didn’t do the trick
Plain hand sanitizer works best for this
Dab it on, wait a few seconds and dab it off with clean towels or paper towels
This is how you remove hair color drips as well (but not from hair, that is a whole other process)
