Watermark

How do you watermark your pattern, do you use a specific website or do you just have to put something on the photo? Is it necessary or a good precaution, or will it not do much? Also what photos do you watermark, the ones inside the pattern or just display? I’m new to all of it and I want to be careful with my patterns, especially when I start making paid ones, so if someone could explain that would be great.

So we all know that stolen patterns are a huge issue. I’m in the process of updating all of my patterns because of various fixes and I decided I should probably watermark everything since I’m already going through the process, but that’s like 30 patterns and turns out over 120 images Well I figured I would share a site I found that someone put together that watermarks your images in huge batches.
