So I really want to make a weighted plushie, but I have absolutely no idea what pattern to use! I can make something pretty big so don’t worry about the size. And I would prefer it to be an animal but I’m open to anything!
a ferret or a penguin would be sooo cute!

A FERRET!!! and i have a question… what do you use to make it weighted? like how and where do you buy it
Weighted pellets and put them in a tied nylon. I got the pallets from my grandma but I bet you could buy them on Amazon

I’ve used this pattern to make weighted whales for friends of mine, and they turned out great. 
I sewed a little pouch roughly the shape of the whale and filled it with rice so it could be microwaved and used as a hot pad for cramps as well. I filled each one with 5.5 pounds of rice, but they could have easily help more. If you do plan on making a microwaveable one, I’d recommend using cotton yarn just to be safe.

Honestly, any pattern can be weighted if you use a pouch… so pick anyone and add your weights!

You could use a snuggler pattern and then put weights in them!! I think it is @Craftsrme67 who has loads
