I’ve left really long mr tails if ik im gonna need and emergency one, and I’ve also used my shoelace, I js untied it and tried not to yank it out lol.
I saw someone wearing stitch markers as earrings once, which looks cute and is great for keeping one on hand. Sadly though, when I shoved one through my ear it hurt I couldn’t keep it in long ://

HELP i never use a stitch marker (unless i have to).
i just keep count of my stitches instead of having to hv a placeholder for them TvT

i used to use earrings and sometimes a darning needle to keep in place.
