What are some difficulties in crochet??

Hello everyone! Crocheting can come with a lot of little frustrating moments such as yarn breaking, shedding, and hand cramps. What are some difficulties you experience when crocheting??

When I began, crocheting an even square (not a granny square) was impossible because every time the sides where wavy.

But it doesnt happen anymore.

Middle pull yarn barf errrgghh

Rewinding basically every skein because I don’t wanna deal with middle pull yarn barf, I also don’t own a winding machine so I rewind them all by hand, I use the crazy 8 technique now to rewind by hand and have both a middle and outside pull

And my SDIT pup running off with my balls of yarn and projects and unwinding or frogging them cause I forgot to lock the stitch with a stitch marker

Just recently the magic ring I was using on a larger piece of a project pretty much fell apart because it was chenille so I had to frog the whole thing. :face_exhaling: :expressionless_face:

When I crochet with chenille yarn sometimes when I pull the mr but it gets stuck, the yarn breaks, the mr comes loose, and I have to start over

If you are using chenille, I suggest making the MR out of acrylic worsted weight yarn and then work your 1st round into that ring with your chenille yarn. You can pull the MR tight without it breaking and then hide those tails inside
