I’ve spent too long on this :sob:

Super long response

Everyone knows those are micro-portals for yarn spirits who are legally obligated to guard your project from unraveling at 3:17 a.m. If you listen closely, they whisper things like “count your rows” and “you missed one back there.”

They’re also emergency snack bag clips for ants. Very small ants. With standards.

In the crochet multiverse, they function as tiny carabiners for yarn mountain climbers attempting to summit Mount Blanket. Extremely dangerous terrain. Lots of pilling.

Some people THINK they’re for marking stitches, but that’s propaganda spread by Big Crochet to distract us from the truth. These are clearly interdimensional bookmarks so your project remembers what it was supposed to be before you turned a frog into a slightly suspicious potato.

They can also be used as:

• Earrings for emotionally unavailable dolls

• Tactical grappling hooks for Lego spies

• Portable handles for invisible teacups

• Limited edition collector badges for people who survived counting to 237 without losing focus

If you put three of them in a triangle on your desk, a perfectly tensioned foundation chain appears. Probably. I haven’t tested it because I value reality.

And if one disappears? It did not fall. It has been recruited for a secret mission inside the couch.

I was going to comment the same.

Anybody actually use them as earrings?

I don’t have pierced ears, but if I did, I totally would wear them for fun.

I believe they are mechanisms that lock your door or your bike or your locker and the hard thing is for decorations, according to my calculations
