what can this thing mean

well i was crocheting a raccoon from a random free pattern and then i encountered this thing :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
there wasn’t even any slip stitch (not talking about slst on the beginning of the row)

I think they’re talking about a hdc sl st? Other than that I don’t know :(

Maybe try contacting the pattern designer to ask for clarification

yeah, i thought the same, but what is a hdc in sc then?

Hmm… I don’t really know, maybe a regular hdc? If there’s any more issues I would contact the creator :(

I would say you do 3 hdc’s in the row below, with the middle one being in the sl st.

Which pattern is it? I could check.

hdc in sc, hdc in sl st, hdc in sc
MEANS
(hdc inc, sc) in one st
(hdc inc, sl st) in next st
(hdc in, sc) in next st
