I’m not sure what the line under “worked over” is for, but the ones next to “rnds” are for the total number of rounds and the finished size of the project, I think

It’s actually for the gauge! Gauge generally doesn’t matter in amigurumi so it’s not really necessary here.
But basically when you’re making wearables there’s a gauge that tells you how tightly/loosely the designer’s stitches were, so that when you make the pattern you don’t end up with a sweater (for example) that doesn’t fit.
So if it says 8 rounds = 2" you would then crochet 8 rounds, and if it comes out to 2 1/2" then you would redo with a tighter tension and vice versa if that makes sense

Okay the “worked over” refers to the stitch you used.

Ahh okay. So sorry, I think I saw someone use it that way in a pattern when I was still really new here, so I’ve been thinking that’s what it was the whole time :sob:
