My makes are piling up! What do you all do with most of your amigurumi?
- I display them.
- I sell them.
- I give them away as gifts.
- They go in a bin.
- Other!
Right now, mine are in a bin, but I hope to gift a bunch. It would be nice to sell some too, so I can get some yarn money, haha!

Mine are in a bin, waiting to go to either the children’s hospital or the fire/ police department to give to kids.

My amigurumi either go to friends kids, doctors kids, or to the local childrens hospital when given away. Most go on display though. This year I’m having custom shelves built up near the ceiling of my craft room to display them better.

I used to gift them, but a friend of mine just ordered a whale so I got to think about how much I’m gonna sell it now

For me, it’s all of them. Some go on my shelf, some go in my basket, some go on my bed, some end up in my hammock, some of them end up in all of those places at my friends’ houses. I used to sell a lot of them (might start back up, idk), but now I just have mostly dragons and such, not a huge variety to sell

That reminds me that I want to make a hammock for some of mine! And for all my kiddos’ stuffies.

I use mine for school. Last year and this year I made something for each of the 8th graders moving on to high-school. (It is a K-8 so it is a major change for them to leave.)
I also give them out for emotional support. Last year an elementary school I am connected to had 2 students pass away, in less than a month. I gave the rest of my stock (around 30 at the time) to the counselor to give to kids who needed a little extra love and support.

i mostly sell mine! then the ones that don’t sell for at least a year, my partner gets the ones they want as a gift
otherwise, they get heavily discounted just so i can get rid of them.

Sometimes I make things just for me, and they get displayed, or attached to keys. I had a big box of chickens that my sister asked if she could sell at the nursing home she works at. Some I sell at work to raise a few coins for charity. And others are gifted.
So er, all of the above
