What do you think? 🤗

So I’m almost done with this cow (need to make some horns)… The pattern has an upside down strawberry as a horn (2nd picture), regular old pointy horns, or a Hershey kiss (neither of which I’ve made yet). I was thinking for pointy horns I could do the snout color?, and the kiss horns I have a grey with a sliver metallic tinsel (pic 3).

I’m thinking it needs an accessory though.:woman_shrugging:t3: I thought I could ask here because no one in my household is any help. So what do you think? Or will one of the horn options be enough?

I vote regular horns out of the snout color

A set of regular horns made from the cream color, and maybe a small basket of strawberries as an accessory.

Looks so cute! I think the horns in the accent color would look stellar!

Could definitely add the kisses to the basket, too

How about a milk pail in that sparkly color with some strawberries in it.

Call the cow Strawberries and Cream!

Oh that’s a good idea!

Yeah the original patterns are a pink and red strawberry milkshake cow, a brown chocolate kiss cow, and a black and white run of the mill dairy cow

That’s a really cute idea!

I feel you lol!!!
What about a tutu skirt and a crop top lol
I love the strawberry, but will vote for regular horns and the basket idea i liked too!

This is very cute!!! I agree about adding something. When I was making those types of toys I would often add a crochet or ribbon bow around the neck and sometimes attach a charm to the bow. Since this is a cow maybe you could add a bell?

Snout colored horns is my vote! Think the strawberry basket or milk pail would be a fantastic way to incorporate them, but also the bow/bell idea (could do the bow in pink with a strawberry charm)! Everyone’s so creative; I’m super curious about the hershey kiss horns :relaxed:

Thanks for all of your input! I’ll be making the kiss even if I don’t use it, as it’s a pattern test rn.

One thing that did come to mind was a crocheted string of pearls. The other thought was a flower for the head, maybe a daisy or something. I just wasn’t sure if that might be too much. I thought to put it in the original post, but I didn’t want to skew anyone’s creative thinking. Thank you for your advice!

Lol they’re just no help. They look at me with blank faces and I can tell they’d just rather be somewhere else. “Stop asking me”, I imagine this is running through their heads.

I didn’t really want to make any clothes, I had thought about something simple for the pig, but not this cow. :woman_shrugging:t3: Thanks for the suggestion though. :hugs:

maybe just one of the horn options? id say maybe between the hershey kiss or regular horns to go with the colours you used for the main body :revolving_hearts:

Cute!! I like the strawberry on its own but maybe prefer regular horns. He could have a basket of strawberries or something?
Maybe some nostrils?
But I think it looks great!

Whered you get the pattern?!

I like the idea of the cream horns.
I also like @anoswaldoddity milk pail idea.
you could also make a collar where the strawberry replaces a bell and put the kisses in the pail.
Whatever you do, this is gonna be amazing

She actually had some nostrils! They’re just very light in color.
