I am a self taught crocheter and some patterns I tried weren’t so beginner friendly. If videos are included it’s amazing because it shows me the stitches. I ended up having to research a lot of stitches like the bobble stitch and the correct way to sew pieces together. Simple patterns without outfits or accessories were really easy for me as a beginner. I feel that certian ones like jellyfish and bees are great patterns for people who just started but some with accessories might be tricker for a beginner so I think they should be put as intermediate or have the accessories as optional.
This is just from experience. comment anything else that u think is not so beginner friendly.
