What’s better? Joined rounds or Spiral rounds

If my stitch marker falls out I am DOOMED. :skull_and_crossbones::skull: the many times I’ve lost my stitch marker…

It really depends on what I’m making, but usually spiral

I keep loosing all of mine so like I have to resort to an earring to a piece of yarn :skull:

This depends on what you are making but I do spiral for most of my plushies and use a stitch marker.

Spiral is faster and easier but joined looks a bit more neat and clean

Depends on the pattern. Neither is “better.” Each method has its benefits but continuous rounds are more common now. If the pattern is complex and calls for joined rounds, you can do continuous, but it will not look the same as the pattern and you may need to make adjustments.
Here is an example of same pattern with each method. Blue is continuous and green is joined. The pattern calls for joined.

I can do joined rounds, but whenever I try to do it without a stitch marker, I always lose my place or make it wrong or something.
I mastered the way to hide the joins tho.
