What’s your average yarn haul?

As it says :point_up_2:t3: I was curious, I just bought 14 skeins which is around my average haul. And I was wondering what you guys usually get per yarn haul.

Well for me, I just go big not very often so I end up with more. And the reason I buy so much is sales :shushing_face::joy:

My impulse spending and need for the best deal often has me buying 10-15 at a time especially since i am a big girl and unless i am making amigurimi my wearables take a lot of yarn

And I buy in bulk when I buy, which is typically when there on sale :laughing: I got each skein 4 dollars cheaper :smiling_face::+1:t3::laughing:

I used to spend $75 every time I went to Joann but I lowered it to $20-$30 recently! It is usually 3-4 skeins

Somewhere around 5 or 6 skeins, although I am forever regretting not getting more. I’ve been crocheting for over 3 months now (although I’ve def put in more hours each day than is average lol) and I’m still trying out different fibers and weights, so I don’t commit to getting a whole lot of one type unless I can test it out and I like the way it feels. But now I have a bunch of random individual skeins that I can’t do much with lol

14 is wild omg?? I wish I could afford that much </3 I usually get 3ish, once I got 6(?) I think but that was because there was a buy two get one sale :sob: I just go whenever I find that I need new colors/when I run out of something

I really only get yarn like 4 times a year and I just go big and buy in bulk when I do.

Not very, and depends a lot haha
Sometimes I’ve gone like half a year before getting more yarn and sometimes I get like one skein with like perhaps two weeks in between because I discover I need more colors :'D When that happens I usually have my friend yoink the color for me because she drives herself around and has more convenient access anyways
