i started crocheting like 8-9 years ago and info used to be sososo unreachable/sparse so i gathered info + inspo in like 50+ pinterest boards too lol lmk if you wanna take a look

She used to make them really loose with big needles (in your case hooks), like really see-through to use it layered with something underneath, but anyways. Good luck with your project, whatever you choose to do!

I believe this type of yarn was called sashay, it was super popular for a few months during a fad where people knit or crocheted scarves. I dont use it for that, someone taught me how to make jewelry with it awhile ago so there may be a pattern floating around for that but I use it as a border on things like blankets or wearables.
