Everything is softer than RHSS! But it’s great for beginners because the starch on it keeps the fibers from splitting making it easier to crochet with. However, the yarn I learned to crochet with was tape yarn. But that stuff is like $9-12 a ball. That was back when I was making ALOT of money.
