Hey everyone! What’s your favorite yarn type to use? Just for fun :star_struck:

  • super fine
  • thin
  • regular (about size 4)
  • thick
  • chunky
  • SUPER chunky

Ummmm what do you consider to be thin vs super fine and thick vs chunky
(I guess I need more standardized classifications)

Would you be using
Super fine = 1/ Fingering/ sock
Thin = 2/ sport
Regular = 4/Worsted
Thick = 4/Aran or 5/bulky (which are 2 different weights)
Chunky = 5/ Bulky or 6/ Super Bulky
Super chunky = 6/ Super Bulky or 7/Jumbo

Or are you using a different system? And which do you mean for thick, chunky and super chunky?

I think the super fine is less popular than super chunky… but I really love my sock yarn! Hehe
