Iām actually starting to think that the wheel is a scam. No one ever gets the premium pattern or the $100. Only coupons or occasionally, the 2x free patterns. Itās really disappointing because I was super excited about the wheel and I think a lot of other people were too!

āScamā might be a little strong. But I agree that theyāve programmed the wheel to rarely give those items of tangible value (real money). Like winning a billion dollar lottery against a billion other tickets.

Iām happy that they are generous enough to do these things for us. The other craft sites Iām on donāt do anything like this

I got a Ribblr Premium pattern for a cardigan once. Still havenāt used it yetā¦ oh well.

I think the wheel is nothing more than a creative way to make it feel like youāre āwinningā a materials deal thatās always available anyways. Like the 5$ off 35$ for example has been running for years non-stop (on the Joannes app), whenever I go and buy fabric or other materials from them its a given that Iāll use that coupon because itās been there for so long I donāt even check if its there anymore Iāve been successfully assuming for years now.
Iām guessing that theyāll strategically add the possiblity of a 100$ gift card at a time when they want some excitment or something and itāll be a big deal but right now I donāt believe winning it is actually a possibility.
In summary: I think the wheel is cuteā¦but more to pressure people into buying materials with already existing deals
