Wheelchair wheel cover interest??

Heyyyy guys! So, my brother is a part time wheelchair user, and for Halloween I made him some web wheelchair wheel covers (I’ll insert a picture tomorrow) that I freehanded. After some research, there is literally ONE Etsy shop that has crochet patterns for these things. And I couldn’t find any a younger boy would like. SO…
Would there be any interest in some wheelchair wheel cover patterns?? I’m thinking of posting the web pattern here. And I’ll ask my brother for more ideas is what to make for him.
Also, I am aware that someone just posted a pattern for a web cover, I’m NOT copying I promise, this is my own pattern I came up with.
So? If you know of anyone who might be interested in this, please tag them!!!

I don’t personally (or know anyone who does) use a wheelchair but seeing as there’s only 1 etsy shop with things like that, I think that it’d be awesome! :yellow_heart:

I very rarely use a wheelchair because wow are they expensive:sob:, most days I have some ability to walk, and my house is very much not accessible (it’s a split one so to go anywhere in the house you either have to walk up or down a flight of stairs) but omg that sounds sick!!!
If I ever get a wheelchair of my own I’d absolutely love patterns like that!
I don’t think I know anyone on ribblr who uses a wheelchair (at least full time):sob: but if I remember someone that does, I’ll tag them!

I think this is an amazing idea! I’ll try to think of some ideas, as well :sparkling_heart:

EDIT: (A few that came to mind: pokeball, sports themed, different elements, space- inspired, pizza, fun spirals and geometric shapes!)

I think it’s a great idea! I use forearm crutches when I have to walk long distances and have tossed around the possibility of crutch cozies… maybe we could colab a couple of themes?

Im hoping i can save up for a better one, and i would totally use a crochet pattern for wheel covers!

OMG that sounds like an amazing idea!! I have used a wheelchair for multiple years, luckily I do not need it anymore. I would have loved handmade wheel covers like these!!! Can not wait to see the picture

Also, a pattern for the bag they can hang on the back of their wheelchair or a water bottle holder would be good

Perhaps a wheelchair cushion so they could be more comfortable sitting
