So im interested in knowing who the people on ribblr are? I have heard that it is many young people? (Which suits me and my patterns well though). Do you think it is true?
So to know a bit more about who you are here would help me know what patterns is of interest?
How old are you? Where do you live? Do you crochet as a hobby only or do you want to start a busines from it? And what have you heard or what do you think is the major group here?

I currently corset as a hobby but my dream is to make it a business :]] u think there’s a good diversity of ages here on Ribblr, but I think there are a lot of younger people and that’s what I love most. I’m Kris and I live in the US. I’m 36, but most of the people I’ve met on here are teenagers or young adults. I crochet mostly as a hobby but also as a side business. I’m a librarian for my actual career. I love testing patterns for people, and I love to meet other people who are passionate about crochet too.

I’m Meisha, a 32 year old born and raised in California! I sort of have a business with knit/crochet, occasionally selling finished items and (now) patterns. I would love to expand into that more, doing markets and stuff, but I’m incredibly shy and struggle with self-doubt. However, I also do knitting and crochet as a hobby and for the community aspect. It’s great to connect with other people over a shared interest (especially because I struggle with making friends irl), and although I’ve had to scale back on testing, I love to help out designers whenever I can.
I do think there are a fair bit of younger people on here; my guess is the largest group is the late teen to early twenties bracket, but there truly is a wide range of ages on Ribblr. The diversity of creative voices unified by our craft is something I really treasure about the fiber arts community, in general, and this space provides a fun way to engage with each other.
Me, personally, I’m into all sorts of patterns. Clothes, home goods, accesories, stuffies - I enjoy everything, and I’m sure others do, too! You’re off to a fantastic start with your patterns, and I look forward to seeing what else you create!
Hi Im jean im 55 from Pennsylvania in the USA. Ive crocheted since i was a child but it was basic until about 3 years ago. I sell some of my things in 2 local stores as well as Facebook marketplace. I love it on here, and I’ve noticed all ages but there are a lot of young people, and I love their crochet spirit. I was a pre-school teacher for many years, but now I only teach my 4yr granddaughter. Lol

I love like all things animal or dinosaurs. Thats been a lifelong obsession as has craft. My mum taught me really young so its a calming thing for me. The crochet was self taught 2 years ago. I hope it will become a buisness.
I love designing plushies and patterns. Although I usually end up getting very into one style of something and making it over and over. My other hobbies are watching documentaries, photography, punch needle, crosstitch and diamond painting. I often describe myself as an encyclopedia because I collect facts and add funny comments to them. I also have PCOS so I disappear sometimes because it makes me ill. I also try to stay kinda up to date on social media but i find that hard some weeks.
