Why was my post hidden by community flags?

I just joined, and applied to a tester call for the first time on here. OP asked everyone to comment yarn weight/color, hook size, and include a blue emoji if they read all the instructions for applying. This was my comment (the first time I’ve commented on here) and it immediately came up as “flagged by the community.” What does this mean and why was it flagged??

I believe this happened because you’ve only recently joined Ribblr and your account may require a little more time and activity before certain functions are available to you.

That was my first guess as well, but nothing in the community guidelines mentioned anything about that :smiling_face_with_tear: Thank you for your input!

i’m not sure, but if a moderator believes there is nothing wrong with it, they will unhide it!

I think it just takes time! You need to be on here for a while before you can post often!

yeah, that’s a bit weird I agree with the other comments, though. (welcomet o ribblr!) maybe try again now if the tester call is still open?

Your first comment on Ribblr will usually get flagged by the system. The comment should return after a short period of time. I see that it is already back in the comment section!

like others have said, ribblr has some sort of automated system that flags comments for human review, and many new accounts get their first posts flagged. i don’t why it happens, but once your comment is reviewed it will be back to normal and after your first few posts i think you will be all clear!
