When I first saw it I thought it would be called a leaf stitch lol ![]()
Definitely lol ![]()
I’m working on/photographing steps of a piece as I draft that pattern for sale.
That is actually consistent with what it looks like. Or the scale stitch
I know!!!
Fishy stitch!

Some people call it a dragon stitch but I dunno thats any friendlier
Thank you. Both flowers are free patterns on ribblr that I highly recommend. The roses were slow and took a bunch of yarn but the carnations are really fast and worked all in one piece
Ah, that’s awesome. I just got a new app to help me with pics cause I do everything on my phone and couldn’t remove backgrounds before.
Unfortunately the lighting I have to work with is subpar for quality “photography” so I just have a pretty piece of vintage fabric that I lay out on my work desk to use as a backdrop, and trim the photos to keep other stuff out of them. One day I’d like to be able to take much better quality photos though.
Which app is it?
Its called photoroom. Its what I used for the picture of the tapestry pic.
I feel you on that one. I’m always trying to figure out how best to use the natural light but oftne have to use a harsh flash because I live in scotland where the sun barely shines ![]()
It’s on my serious bucket list to visit Scotland!!

My grandpa traced the entire family tree to the first “Morris” that left Scotland. Don’t remember the year though. Maybe 1890s?
Ah that’s really cool. Its really wet here or its really gross and humid of its hot weather but I love the amount of green space and beautiful wildlife we have.
It never gets insanely hot or cold here so thats nice too. No real risk from large predators, no real venemous animals to worry about and we have some cool cultural events still alive. I def recommend visiting if you get a chance.
