✨ Wip Wednesday! ✨

Hello everyone! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I wanted to create this topic as a safe place for everyone to share their current works in progress or recent makes. Both knitting or crochet :dizzy: I recently have been a little absent and I would love to see what everyone has been working on lately :white_heart:

I have been working on a little sleeping duck! All that remains to be added are the embroidery eyes! I am also thinking of maybe adding a little sleeping cap, let me know what you think :cherry_blossom:

That has to be one of the cutest things I’ve even seen! I’m currently working on testing some patterns, as well as writing a pattern for a banana cat :)) I wish you luck with your adorable little duck!

A banana cat! That sounds so cute! Such a lovely idea, I can’t wait to see it :dizzy: I tested a banana dog not too long ago by @JAdamsCollection which was an amazing pattern! And thank you so much, I have a friend who loves ducks and I wanted to surprise her with this little guy :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I wish you goodluck with all the testing!

Thank you so much! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I hope the testing is going well  I have been interested in shawls and cardigans lately, I love how detailed they can be, I am excited to see it :sparkles:

Thank you! I’m fortunate to be working with some lovely designers so no complaints here ^.^

I’m excited to see it, too (mostly to see me finish it LOL); it’s my first shawl, so it’ll be extra special to me.

Absolutely agree about the gorgeous and intricate work found in cardigans and shawls, in particular. It’s amazing to me how people are able to take relatively simple stitches and create absolute artistry from them.

You worded that so perfectly! I couldn’t have said it better myself  It is the same in regards to amigurumi, I tip my hat to those fiber artists working with acrylic yarns creating such lovely detailed work!

I think your shawl will look absolutely amazing! What colour/s have you used to create it? And I am very happy for you in regards to the testing, we love a good testing experience

Yes! It really applies to all fiber artists. Every day I’m knocked off my feet by the skill and creativity on display in this larger community. I hope you are tipping your hat to yourself, as well, given how you are among those designing them!

And thank you! I hope so; I aspire to be a shawl legend (shawlsmith? I think it should be a word haha) like Winter some day - I’m certain you’ve seen some of their stellar works!

I used a teal sort of ombre yarn. If nothing else the yarn will look pretty  and tysm! Couldn’t agree more!

Thank you so much! I have mainly so far have made more simplistic things that are beginner friendly. But in time I plan on pushing myself to make more detailed work for intermediates  I would also love to make home decor and clothing in the near future :sparkles:

A shawl smith sounds like such an awesome title haha! You definitely will be in time. That sounds like such a beautiful colour! I am even more excited to see it now
