Wishing this app was the same as back then

I know we have a craft chat now, but like it just doesn’t seem the same. It feels like there’s a ton of negativity on this app now with people it’s just doesn’t feel the same as when I first joined last year. I do wanna say people like loaf and some other amazing pattern designers do keep the app feeling like a great crafting app. Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk I just wanted to know if anyone else felt the same

Yes! I feel like so many people are using this as, idk instagram or something…. And there are so many negative and kinda mean people that just aren’t considerate of others. :cry: and they get VERY angry when confronted about it. (I feel like I have done a pretty good job of staying positive and kind, but feel free to say something if you think not :sweat_smile:!)

You’re genuinely so nice to be around! Sometimes I can get a little snappy when people are negative but honestly we all have flaws and it’s okay :heart_hands:

Unfortunately the internet is just full of negativity everywhere. You cant share anything because someone wants to come along who just likes to be nasty to others. :worried:

I joined November of 2023, tbh it just depends on who you talk to, there’s plenty of great people on the app and the “negative people” a lot of times aren’t rly negative, just kinda misunderstood. But it all depends on your preference ig.

I don’t use the chats here so haven’t experienced much bad behavior I’ve only put a couple people on ignore the whole time I’ve been here. I’ve heard of the negativity in the chats here so tend to stay out of there.

I DMd Ribblr each time and fully explained what happened and why I put those people on ignore in case they tried to lie to Ribblr to get me in trouble
