Would people pattern test for something as large as a blanket?

I’m currently writing up a pattern for a granny square blanket measuring 130cm squared. Is this the kind of thing anyone tests? or should I break it down to one granny square and the border around the one square to make it more manageable?
Any help would be appreciated

Maybe? It might depend mostly on how much time you give them to complete it

Id offer both options, but if youre in a time crunch scaling it down can help. Id usually give people working on larger projects like that a couple months.

I’ve seen testers offer size options. That way each person can do the size they have time for.

For example:
Full blanket
Baby blanket
Lovey

I’d test it :raised_hands::yarn: I have so much time on my hands right now I wouldn’t even mind

If that was me, I would give them a lot of time to do it (like a month???) and I think u should do multiple options for sizing depending on height and stuff (example: 150-160 cm = blanket size ______)

I believe that someone will test but only with plenty of time. Several options will help you get more testers

Yes lots of people would just make sure you have a good chart and guage on your pattern for each size and aprox yarn amounts.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions

I’ve decided to release a pattern test with multiple options to hopefully get a range of test results to help me improve.

Those of you offering to test for me, the pattern test will go up in the next month hopefully so keep an eye out. (+ thank you for your offer) :white_heart:

I would definately test. I think it would also draw me in if you said it was okay to use less or more squares on it too!
