We have learned about a lot of strange Michigan things since our new neighbors moved in - Superman ice cream, Vernors ginger ale, and Ballreich Potato Chips (to be fair, the internet which I had to check to spell that name correctly, says those are actually from Ohio) - all things they dearly miss and stock up on when they go visit family.

Sometimes we forget just how big the US is and how many things are only available in only one region. (Or are under different names in different regions to be extra confusing.) Which really makes it odd they named the yarn after a regional thing like that. :person_shrugging:

To switch back on topic though, @craftycellist - youā€™re lucky, my storeā€™s yarn was already pretty much gone. :frowning_face: The lines to cut fabric were HUGE though.

What I thought was really funny, in an email from Joanns, it states up to 40% off store wide , but then at the end of the email, it says ā€œif you want an additional 30% off, join our team!ā€ and give the link to apply for a job :rofl: like make it make sense
