JoAnn’s never ships from China. Did you use their actual website??
Also, even if some stores are closing, you can still have their items shipped to you. Mine usually come from their Ohio warehouse or California rather than my local store.

Joann’s is in bankruptcy reorganization, which is a financial restructuring process. Some underperforming stores have been closed and are in the process of being closed. Joanns itself is not going out of business
